FutsalNow is back. To mark our return, we’ve got coverage of a charity futsal tournament that took place in Subang Jaya on Saturday 5th December.

The event was organized by Placebo effect.This was their second charity tournament after the one at MMY Cyberjaya a month before.

However, Midlands crashed out in the quarters as U R MY BRO proceededto the final to meet RED ASEANS, who were getting twice stronger after every game. The twin brothers on that team were slicing players like cake with their fast 1-2’s and through balls, not to mention the solid man they had between the posts. As both teams made it to the final, which was played on the blue courts, Red Aseans seemed energetic and powerful, while U R MY BRO seemed to be a tired team that was in a rush. The game was an entertaining hard-fought 3-1 victory to Red Aseans, which treated the spectators to an amazing almost-impossible double shot save from U R My Bro keeper Brad. Prior to this game, U R My bro captain, Shahmeez gave etveryone something to talk about with his audacious chip goal in the quarters,  and a great lob goal from a magnificent team combo in their semi final game. Red Asean emerged as champions and walked home with RM1300 cash prize, while runners-up U R MY BRO came 2nd and took RM700 prize
